And the subprocess would not inherit the cokies, would it ?

Assuming a patch implementing the back-quote expansion in the goto URL
prompt, or something similar, would such a pach be accepted ?
Of course, one may imagine that this behaviour is disabled by default
and can be enalbled through a configuration option.
