Isn't that already done via the Referer header?
(Note that some people consider passing this sort of information to be
an invasion of privacy. At the very least, it is almost universal for
anyone analysing web server logs to use it to find out the Google search
words for hits arriving via Google.)

RFC1855 says there should be an address here, but, in a world of spam,
that is no longer good advice, as archive address hiding may not work.
