Hello sir, I have been looking ofr more information on the lynx work, I don't know just reading the stuff and name come around here. I didn't get one point here that how does lynx support the search engines and why they need approval from your side. If they are so powerful then why they are keep looking on your side. Please reply hoping to get good answer .... Thanks:- sandeep kumar
Well, the keyword is 'text'. Lynx is a text-mode browser and search engines index the web mainly through -text-. So, through lynx you see the web in a similar way as search engines do. That is all, there is no big deal, no power involved. For instance, if your site is built around javascript or flash, in lynx you will not see much. The same could be true for a searchengine. --Jasper. _______________________________________________ Lynx-dev mailing list [email protected] https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lynx-dev
