I'll probably have an openssl update happening pretty soon then. I use archlinux and that system uses rolling releases. I didn't compile openssl or lynx, both came from archlinux package updates and I use aur so this system has development versions of software on it unless only stable versions are available. That?s alarmist. This is entirely the job of the SSL library used.
I patched my OpenSSL so my lynx is not vulnerable.
