Have you tried it on the Ny times mobile site?
mobile.nytimes.com
Interesting that ssl would be dated in his project though.
Laughing at the old computing idea too.
Old is I dare say a matter of definition.

I was looking for up to date SSL support the version above had, including

highly support anybody who is working to provide a use for old computers.

Juan's version has one bug I have found: Links on nytimes.com do not seem
to work on his version. (I have no idea: not escaping the # character
correctly or string length? I'm no good at C) That said, it works on sites
that only support newer ssl.

I believe that Lynx on DOS is an under served use case. Huge Linux fan,
but sometimes I don't want to wait for it to boot. All you need is a

Perhaps it is time for Doug Kaufman to update his package?
A great deal has changed in lynx since his last effort in I believe

It's kind of a pain to get all the modules & CA cert, but SSL
works.
Kaufman's port is great, but lacks current SSL.
I use a small enet/wireless usb bridge. I can boot & get the
weather
faster on my twenty year old laptop than my two year old chromebook.
