If you use wget to do those npr downloads, use the --trust-server-names
switch and the random junk gets removed. This also happens with
sourceforge.net downloads and that's how I found out how to fix this
problem.

alot of seemingly randem number-and-letters. So I backspace over everything
from a question-mark which follows dot mp3. Any suggestions for these
