they sell advertising by insuring everyone regardless of how their body works gets the kind of journalism allowing them to be informed citizens...its how they sell papers.

If they behave like a typical business, there will be a complete disconnect between what content authors write and how the business itself works.

As always the business is an advertising business, not an (accessible) news provider.
