Downloaded the Win32 installers today. All of them, in turn. None work with
HTTPS sites. Most sites these days redirect to HTTPS. What gives?

The https://invisible-island.net/lynx/lynx-win32.html page, in the “built with
curses (not color-style)” section refers to really old names of OpenSSL
libraries.

The Windows build documentation at the repo in
https://github.com/ThomasDickey/lynx-snapshots/blob/master/INSTALLATION
references openssl-0.9.8h-1-setup.exe, which is ancient.

Can someone please write some good documentation on how to make the Win32
installers work with OpenSSL? At least tell us the version we should be looking
for.

Can someone also make it work with OpenSSL 3.5? Soon, 4.0.
