Hi,

I'm using Lynx with Gopher holes and it's the best browser I've found
for this purpose. Three things though, two of which which made me download the source code and recompile lynx 2.9.2

1)
mpeg_play is no longer avalible on Linux, and my first reaction was to write a script that launched mpv. However I wound up preferring mailcap
and removing mpeg_play from HTInit.c

2)
Lynx converts gophermaps to html internally, only it adds n ugly <H1>
tag at the top for no reason I can see. I removed it from WWW/Library/Implementation/HTGopher.c

3)
This one is wishful thinking. The Elpher gopher client linkifies gopher text files, ie. when it sees an url it converts it to a link.
This would make lynx perfect for gopher in my mind. How would it be
possible?

Best regards,
Philip
