no, it won't (I suspect you're asking about "Insert file in textarea").
No, I didn't think about file insertion at all. I'm new to lynx, and haven't
yet had a need to use this functionality. Though good to know, of course, if I
ever do. I was just giving some possible reasons for the behavior that I've
come up with.

By the way, is there a preferred name for the control key in the context of lynx key combinations? I saw both "^", "C"
and "Ctrl" in the documentation (there's also "Control" used, but only as an explanation to "^"). I don't
know why I'm using lowercase "c", which I can't find now; probably because of a convention I saw somewhere else.
