Hello, esteemed developers, I hereby duplicate my recent Lagrange feature request <https://github.com/skyjake/lagrange/issues/798>, as I believe it would benefit Lynx users too. What is it about? Simple: please consider adding support for the secure Gopher protocol in URIs (similar to what HTTPS means for HTTP, this would be Gopher over TLS). I felt a bit frustrated after implementing my fedornicus <https://github.com/dacbarbos/fedornicus> setup that the only client providing such an OOB (out-of-the-box) experience was ncgopher <https://github.com/jansc/ncgopher> (even without using gophers:// to distinguish between plain and secure). Context: Fedora tech-talk <https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/anyone-feeling-nostalgic-for-the-weekend/197000>. I hope this message makes sense and hopefully resonates with some of you. Thank you.
