Hi,
I downloaded lynx2-8.hppa1.1-hp-hpux10.20-curses.gz today for our HP-unix box. I tried
to unzip the file using the command gzip -d lynx*, and got the following message
gzip: lynx2-8.hppa1.1-hp-hpux10.20-curses.gz: not in gzip format
I tried other means that I know so as to unzip it, but failed. As I was not able to
unzip it, I was wondering whether this is the right file. Later I downloased the
lynx2_8_2rel_1_tar.gz file. I was able to uncompress this file, but I am not sure
whether this is a right one for our hp-unix server, because it doesn't specify which
unix platform this is for. After I tar -xvf lynx2_8_2rel_1_tar, I don't know how to
install it. Would you please help me?
