lynx-dev LYNX: "print" (to device) seem to SUCCEED? Bad msg?

I said "p", lynx (new) said "print? " or something,
I said y, 

  AND it printed an error-msg (!) saying something about permissions,
  I ^G'd (or said "n"; I forget, ... 
  BUT THEN IT SAID:   message printed

I xuppose that's just n bad message?
