Well, two people, anyway. Aside from just looking (to me) ugly
as sin when people slap emphasis tags around their whole site,
it also makes it harder for me to read quickly, due to reduced
visual cues re: oqpg, vy, ji; and pet peeve number one -- the
difference between " " and "_" is completely obliterated. It
doesn't come up that often, but it's a pain when it does.
I add my thanks to Henry/Klaus/whomever-else. I'd found those
lines (I think) some time ago when I was trying to lose the
underlining, but I couldn't figure out what to change them *to*.
Deleting them entirely didn't occur to me.
