What was the LYNDOWNLOAD: URL that appeared on the Download Options
screen before you pressed Enter?

This can't have been a normal *remote* download, since in that case
the first %s would have been a lynx-generated temoprary filename.
Maybe there are some issues that appear only if you try to 'd'ownload
a *local* file.  Maybe only with dired enabled.
