AFAIR I've tested both slang and curses libraries with lynx ports to DJGPP
and Win32 and I remember severe and regular glitches in screen display on
trivial htmls with either of the libraries on each of the platforms. So I
sticked to slang for DJGPP and PDCurses for win32 that time (it was a year
ago, so I don't remember all the details).
So it seems that using curses library on some platforms in unacceptable
choice.
