This version compiles on Solaris 2.6 with Sun's compiler. However, when
linking against ncurses with the set of options that I have selected, I
get incorrect coloring of terminals.
I will have to do a series of builds until I figure out which
one of the dozen or so options I use cause the coloration problem.
