It is also useful for someone who writes to the list from an address that isn't sub-scribed to Lynx-Dev. Some of the addresses on the -contrib list are like "[EMAIL PROTECTED]", when "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" is the address to which list messages are delivered. At least some of the -contrib addresses belong to people who are on a list that is itself subscribed to the main list.
