I've been asking for an option for lynx to treat a seen

*as if* it were a
. but no one seems to understand why I ask for this.
Here's the outout of two *pairs* of files, one pair using

, and the other pair using
. The second of each pair was printed from how Lynx showed them. ------ WHAT DO *YOU* SEE? What *I* see is that with

, the "paragraphs" are pushed together (no white-space between them), whereas with
there *is* whitespace between paragraphs. Myself, I find it *far* easier to read when there's some whitespace between paragraphs. ---- If you see no difference between t2 and t4, please try to figure out what I have to set or unset. If you *do* see a difference, then maybe someone can come up with a patch thata will add an option to Lynx to say "when you see a

, simply pretend that you instead actually saw a
. What say? David Here's the two file-pairs: (Oh, these came from the lynx user manual, with the middle cut-away): ==> t12.html <==

Lynx Users Guide v2.8.4

Lynx Users Guide v2.8.4

Lynx was designed by Lou Montulli, Charles Rezac and Michael Grobe of Academic Computing Services at The University of Kansas.
