Hi!

I contacted the sunsite people in Denmark about doing our web-pages and a
mirror of the cvs.
They said that's no problem, the offer still stands, and they just want to know
when. They mumbled something about using rsync to do it, but I don't know
anything about that. I assume that requires some set-up on nazgul. Lgb, do
you think it would be possible to do that?

I think we should accept this offer. Any other opinions?

Regarding, whether they should host or just mirror the web-site: I don't know.
 Could people
try to go to "http://www.sunsite.auc.dk" and judge whether it's worse or better
than "http://www.lyx.org". For me, it's better, but of course I'm sitting in
Denmark.

Anyway, if there is no difference in throughput, there might be a relevant
difference in the server performance. That would probably mean that the
cvs-viewer and the cvs-log would be faster.

If nobody has any objections, I'll get the train rolling with the nice Sunsite
people. They have a good reputation here in Denmark, and host several other
open source projects.

So, please try the speed and get back if you have comments on that (and the
other stuff).

Greets,

Asger
