If you tell me how to configure emacs to do that I will be happy about
it (Yes, I use emacs, is that a problem ;-).
Most of the changes in buffer.C result not from indentation changes
but from positional changes, that is, I have grouped together all the
linuxdoc related functions, I asked to Jean-Marc, he agreed, I agreed so
it looked like a consensus :-)

The patch changes also the linuxdoc layout to work with the new
scheme... The other proposal, the manpage layout is just a proposal
(even if it is very simple to write down ...)
