Ok, if have implemented the linuxdoc support for footnotes (+3 lines,
basically :-)
The other issue I would like to discuss here is the linuxdoc legacy. Our
major problem is the LatexDelInset, right?
My proposal is to delete the support for that right now... retaining the
ability to read it, and translating all the instances to legal lyx, this I
know how to do it (in a clean way, that's the point).
If we do this, 1.2 (2.0 ?) will not need to support the reading of
LatexDel, using the same retrocompatibilty principle stated by Lars earlier.
"If you have something older than lyxformat 2.15 read it with lyx 1.0, and
then save it...", or we could even provide a simple script to translate all
the offending files.
I'm aware that latexDel is used in ref, htmlurl and url insets, used by
linuxdoc. Is there any use of LatexDel?
If there are no major drawbacks I will get rid of that nasty code.
Any complaint?
