Hallo,
I installed a binary .deb file of 1.0.0pre6 and was impressed especially
with its ability to import .tex files.
However, if you look at the attached files, you will see that in the .lyx
file the title, author and date are defined, but not in the .tex file
exported by LyX. Also when I print or view the file, the output resembles
the above .tex file and not the .lyx file.
Can I do something to correct that?
Then I have another problem with my "new" lyx:
I cannot in Afrikaans write "Dags�, goeiem�re" etc. The X compose key
(Ctrl-Scroll Lock) does not work any more with Lyx and the compose key
(accent-tie) does not allow ����.
I can put in the LateX code \^e \^o etc but that is slow to do it in Lyx.
If I have to do that, emac + Latex is much quicker.
I am not subscribed to a LyX list. I would appreciate it if you can
answer me directly.
