hmm, this is turning into, "the incredible sticky times font"

I had already tried changing from times to utopia in the menu. TImes
was still used, and would return to the options->screeb-fonts menu
on the next launch.

I now changed it in lyxrc. THe result is that it shows as utopia in
the menu, but the appearance and dbg -512 show that it's still using
times, and not utopia.

I've also found that I have a pathetic collection of Type 1 fonts:
eyryttyp3:hawk>ls -ls /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/
total 2256

As near as I can read this, it means that I only have courier.

I *think* i've installed every font package available, though . . .

The screen. This gets me scaled fonts, but at 150%, they look like
bold. At 125%, they look normal.

rick, who really needs a new pair of reading glasses . . .
