dead keys support in forms for search, replace, etc

Hi,

just found a small, yet annoying bug relevant for those writing in
multiple languages, who cannot change their keymap constantly:

In forms for search, replace, etc. dead keys do not work (at least with
cua bindings and german menus).


So I cannot replace � with �. (Using vi etc. on *.lyx files is
perfectly possible; I know.)

Is there a common need or chance to support this?
