No, that's ok.  People seem to dislike it for some reason, so I'll just leave
it at that.

Personally, I happen to like the site, and that's why I listed it. They have at
least one complete book about C++ on it.  In particular, it's nice to have the
entire standard C++ library in one place.  The SGI site only lists the STL
part, so I often miss the streams, math and the other good stuff in there.
Yes, there are Microsoft specific things too, but they are clearly marked as
such, so I don't have any problems with that.
Yes, the Visual C++ stuff is very visible on the site, so that can distract you
from the good content there ;-)

(Just for the record, the SGI STL site has SGI STL specific things as well.)

Yes, real paper books are always the best, but I often find myself coding in
very different locations, and I don't like my books so much that I carry them
with me nomatter where I go ;-)  In these situations, the online links are
gold.
