The only problem with EU-Projects, AFAIK, are that you have to
demonstrate industrial interests. No way to make a proposal without
support from minimum three firms from three different EU-Countries.
Further one of this firms has to be from Greece, Portugal, Spain, Italy
or Ireland. Only if you meet all this and have a good contact to the
reviewers and luck, you will make it.
(I've seen many proposals, meeting all points and don't make it!)
