We do not have Docbook export yet!
Jos� is working on it, but it's not there yet...
We do have limited LinuxDoc: No tables, no math.
Also, you start the article by talking about the troubles of document exchange.
Then LaTeX enters the picture as a solution to this problem, but further down,
it's dismissed again because a scientific journal did not accept a LaTeX
document.
Then, LyX enters the picture, but LyX does not solve the document exchange
problem: We have our own format, and reLyX can't do 1:1 on exported
documents... So I end up with a feeling like "so why bother with this LyX
thing? It does not solve any problems."
The article is nice and a good read, but there is no underlying "red thread" -
no real focus that argues that LyX is a solution to a real problem.
Or maybe I'm just too hang over-ish to see it...
