Yes, we noticed that, too, whil translating the docs.
I worked around it by writing {L}a{T}eX and marking the braces as
LaTeX-code. Doesn't look nice in LyX, but I prefer nice-looking
printouts..
Anyway, it's only for some menu items, so it's not really important, I'd
say :-)
