Hi!
I am sorry for this mail, which is more about LaTeX than about LyX. But
I am trying to question almost everyone I can find about this. I used to
use LaTeX on Dos machine and have recently shifted to Linux. On the Dos
version, there was only one directory containing all the style files. So
any new files, I push it to this one. It includes my own modifications of
earlier style files as well - named as new files. But in Linux, I find
that the style files are distributed over hundreds of subdirectories.
Where does new ones go? How do I configure them? I tried everything I
could guess. So can you (or any member of your team) be helpful?
Additional question - Can LyX and/or Klyx be more helpful in these
aspects. (Specifically, problem arises when I use RevTeX and ElsivierTeX
styles - they are accompanied by a set of other style files, which are
needed, I want to put them in a place which can be accesed by all users of
a Linux machine!)
Thanks a lot in advance and sorry for an unrelated question. But since
your project is in someway related to LaTeX, I thought you people can find
me a solution.
