Ideally the documentation should a part of the Extended.lyx manual in
amongst the other additional layout documentation. This would of course
require you to read the DocStyle.lyx file so you formatted your
documentation correctly (and thereby avoided the Wrath of Khan^H^H^H^HJohn
who wrote the DocStyle in the first place and the Wrath of Mike who is
trying his best to clean up, maintain and expand Extended). To do this
you'd need to provide us a patch against the latest Extended.lyx
(preferrably from the lyxdoc cvs repository although LyX-1.0.2 is also
current provided you send it soon).
Failing that just send to the devel-list as an attachment a tar ball
containing your .layout file and your documentation and we'll probably add
the .layout file straight away and merge your documentation ourselves (or
at least provide you with a few pointers so you can do it for us).

Thank you for taking the time to help extend LyX.
