That package can be *dangerous*, and results are highly dependent upon 
where upon the page the float lands.  If it is too low, or if another 
section starts before it might complete, the entire figure can be lost 
(butr it will still have a figure number).  Has someone checked that 
all the figures appear on all possible sizes of paper?
