Hi Folks,
this is probably not a bug, but a feature.... I.m using LyX 1.0.1 from the
SuSE 6.1 distribution to write my thesis. Apart form some unniceties I'll be
wriitng up sometime it has performed very well - none of that crap you read
about in c't about "other wordprocessors" :-))
Anyhows, I'd like to have tables and figures p�laced where I want. I have
specified the "here" option - now I understand why insome reports referenced
tables are 2 pages onwards :-)) Ok, so this is a minor inconvenience.
But: I'd like to display the institute and university logo on the cover page
of my thesis (layout book, German). Using Insert Figure and INsert Figure
Float under the date puts the logos on page two. Putting thembefore the date
causes the title page to use the current date, start the next page, insert
the figures, and then print the date I want it to under that.
So, where doI have to put the graphics (.ps) for them to be prionted on the
first page? Thanks!
