What Lars means here (I think) is that it would be nice to have a
precise test case so that we can understand what is wrong, instead of
just saying ``don't bother fixing it, I want a quick-and-dirty fix
*now*'' :)
But since I can not help being a nice guy, I'll provide the
example... It is as simple as you can get: just include some tex file
in the preamble and LyX will not notice when you modify it. Why?
Because the file is named `foo' and \listfiles lists it as foo.tex :(
Larry, is that what happens in your case? How are your input files
named?
Anyway, here are the files...
Another thing I noticed, is that View DVI does not re-run LaTeX in
some cases where Update DVI does.
