need to unsubscribe from alias

If i'm reading things right, I need to send unsubscription requests 
from the account that's unsubscribing.  Unfortunately, eyry.econ is now 
nothing but an alias for smith.ansci.  Is there another way to do this, 
or do I need to be manually removed?
