I thought that we were not supposed to wait a lot for next version,
but release `early and often', to quote Eric Raymond. In fact, we
could also use the version numbering he uses for fetchmail, where
version x.y.0 is a `gold' release (stable, new features), while the
others are usable but not suitable to put on a CD.

I guess we should realse a version with new directory structure and
new strings first. Wasn't this the plan?
