I think it is due to a bug in the xforms library version 0.88. This is fixed with xforms 0.89, but unfortunately lyx 1.0.4 has other problems with xforms 0.89. So you might switch to lyx 1.1.1, but it has problems of its own... As you see, the situation is not very simple. Hopefully, these problems should be fixed soon with xforms 0.89 and lyx 1.1.2. JMarc
