strange things going on...

 When I try to insert a '�' (thorn) I get a segfault, so far I have
 traced this to Trans::Process where the '�' is wrongly supposed to be
 a deadchar. It seems also that keymap_ and kmod_list_ is not
 initalized. 

 What is even stranger that deadkeys work...

 I really don't get this one.

 I am not even sure if anyone will be able to reproduce this...
