Actually, we support "--help" and "-help", but that's a secret feature.
I agree that the options should be in synch with the LyX tradition, whatever
that is.
So, we all agree that the patch is good, except maybe for the command-line
name. So, Lgb or Jean-Marc, I trust your judgement. Please apply the patch
and change the command-line to whatever you prefer, and let's get this patch
in before it becomes obsolete.
