You are not allowed to do "X|X" and press space two times ('|' is
cursor) otoh "X| X" should allow you to put in an extra space so that
the result is "X | X"
| so. Lyx simply ignored my input. Then I moved a little bit backward and
| forward in the text and suddenly it was possible for me to insert the
| space at the very same place. Apart from that the two-space-editing
| facility is pretty nice.
I have only one outstandng problem with it.
(possible to save double spaces into the .lyx file)
