I made a diff between SConstruct in the trunk and in the 1.4.X branch. There are some differences that make sense but others look suspicious.
Thank you very much for the diff. The biggest part is the different treatment of ICONV_LIB, which is optional in 1.4 and required in 1.5. I will try to make the code similar after I remove the fast_start feature this weekend. Still polishing other scons glitches. I did not test scons against msvc for quite a while, and that caused some problems. Cheers, Bo
