Seems that the current working dir for the lyx process is one wher it
is not have write prermissions.

What would the current working dir be? All directories from LyX.app/ on down give me write permissions, including LyX.app/Contents/MacOS/, which is what contains the lyx executable. Has something changed in the sources that would make LyX use a different working dir than has been the case in the past? (Nothing has changed in my setup, and when I install 1.4.x into the same LyX.app/, I get no problems.)

What does the "-psn_0_96993281" command line option mean? Why is it there?
