The windows look identical. There is no way to tell the difference.

There is a reason why all word processors that support multiple windows have a single running process. It should not be possible to open the same document multiple times when the data is not shared between the windows.

Having the same document in multiple windows is a great new feature, but it should be guaranteed that they share the content so you can safely press save.

Really, a user interface should be designed to make life easier for the users, not to introduce many different states one cannot recognize.
