One of the translation goals is to get rid of the myriad
of bad shortcuts lyx complains about when starting up norwegian LyX.
(I.e. two items have the same shortcut due to partial or mindless
translation. Or the shortcut letter doesn't exist in the translation.)
Most of the time this is easy enough, a simple allocation of
available letters.
But bringing up the "File" menu (in norwegian) logs this
mysterious complaint:
Menu warning: menu entry "Ren tekst..." does not contain shortcut `a'.
("Ren tekst" is the translation of "Plain Text")
Unfortunately, there is no bad shortcut "a" for "Ren tekst"
anywhere in the nb.po file.
Now, this can't be a string outside the translation system,
for the string LyX complains is in norwegian. But it
doesn't come from the po file - there is no
"Ren tekst...|a" in there, only some instances of
"Ren tekst...".
Is LyX adding this shortcut programmatically, i.e. putting
the "plain text"/"ren tekst" string into the menu and appending
"|a" in the C++ code?
And if so - what would the proper fix be?
