Francesco Bochicchio ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) entered the
following feedback message on the LyX home page:

I like a lot the idea of WYSIWYM and the way LyX is implementing it.
Separating semantic and visual layout is the key of latest presentation technology,
like XML ( for the little I know of it ).
However, people ignorant of TeX/LaTeX like me are forced to choose only among the
document templates offered by standard LaTeX, and this may be not enough. For
instance, in my company we use a standard document header with the company logo. There
is no easy way to do it in Lyx, while I guess that adding a few Tex commands would do
the trick.

What I would like is that, once someone extented available LaTex formats, LyX could
present the average LaTex-ignorant user with the possibility to use these new formats,
through auto-updating menus and MMI forms ( something like how Emacs updates its menus
according
with the type of file you are editing ).

I don\'t now if this is possible or how much difficult would be to implement it. It
would be neat, too. Also it will allow TeX-savy people to contribute with new
templates that anybody can use.

Ciao.
