You have all this metainformation fields in a pdf file. It is rather uninformative now then when you create a pdf file from LyX the creator field in the pdf file is 'TeX Metadata repository and search possibilities like Nepomuk are coming on the Linux Desktop. I think it will be important that LyX files can be easily indexed in these new systems. Therefore, we should add metadata fields. For privacy obsessed people maybe we can add an option to include dummy values for metadata. Cheers, Charles
