Hi guys!

LyX is perhaps my favorite piece of software. Every version it gets better
and when I finish my thesis I hope to contribute. I am using it to write my
thesis. I keep the whole thesis in one file, and it works fine!

1.4.4 was a breakthrough version for me because the Table of Contents
feature is so incredibly helpful for planning and writing a thesis! With
that many sections and subsections to arrange and rearrange - it was heaven.

I have, on the advice of a friend, upgraded to the 1.5.0beta1.
Unfortunately, I can't navigate the TOC using the keys. When the tree
control has focus, pressing keys doesn't do anything. I think it is quite
important to be able to navigate using the keys, especially the left/right
keys to expand/collapse branches.

If someone could look into that, I'd be very grateful!

Hello Alexander.

The TOC dialog had multiple problems in beta 1, most of the problems are fixed in trunk. If you can compile yourself, please test that and report. Otherwise wait for beta 2 which should be out soon.

Abdel.
