You have to comment out the macro at the line which includes text.C On Linux you also have to comment out the include (untested). Then you should get: debug mode, full build: 5 minutes debug mode, text.C changed: 12 seconds release mode, full build: 7 minutes release mode, text.C changed: 15 seconds Peter
