LyX/Mac-1.5 crash on launch when opening document

Bob Lounsbury reported to me, and I can confirm, that current  
LyX-1.5svn on Mac crashes on launch when launched by double-clicking  
a document. (LyX can be launched by double-clicking on its  
application icon without problem, and once LyX is running, double- 
clicking on a document icon works just fine.) I can't get LyX to  
launch this way via gdb, so the best I can do is provide this output  
from the console:

Assertion triggered in lyx::BufferView* lyx::LyXFunc::view() const by  
failing check "lyx_view_" in file lyxfunc.C:2104

Any suggestions?
