1. The math preview of german umlauts in a formula (inside text field with C+m) does not work. The created preview image contains multiple characters instead of the umlaut (encoding problem?)

2. I have a user defined layout class for article in combination with a style file. It works fine with 1.4.x, but with 1.5.0beta2 the preamble definition of the layout file is ignored and simply does not show up in the generated tex file.

3. If very long image file names (like the temporary file names composed by lyx from path, underscore, and file name) are used then dvips failes with an error that says the system cannot find the file. When i manually run latex on the tex file in the lyx temp directory this happens (and also when previewed inside lyx). Shorten the image file name in the temp directory and manually running latex cures the problem. This is maybe a problem with Miktex 2.5 .
